Protas partner Slalom recognised for work on Cantata trial platform
Slalom has received a Salesforce innovation award for its work on Protas’ novel clinical trial management platform.

Protas is delighted that Slalom has been recognised for its work in revolutionising clinical trials, notably with Protas’ new technology platform, Cantata.
The accolade was awarded at the 2024 Salesforce Partner Innovation Awards in the “Healthcare & Life Sciences” category.
Kevin Hollingworth, Head of IT Development at Protas, said:
“With Cantata, we’ve developed an innovative, end-to-end platform that streamlines every aspect of clinical trial management within a single, secure system. It enhances trial quality, improves user experience, facilitates better results and reduces costs.
“Our collaboration with Slalom embodies the spirit of ‘one team’. We feel privileged to work alongside them in this endeavour, and we’re very proud of Slalom’s well-deserved recognition at the 2024 Salesforce Partner Innovation Awards.”
This award underpins Protas and Slalom’s commitment to improving the way clinical trials are designed and built and, in doing so, helping improve the health of people burdened by common disease around the world.
Jennifer Dumbleton, Head of Trial Management and Product Owner at Protas, said:
“The team have worked so hard to build Cantata, harnessing innovative thinking and software development techniques to deliver a solution to enable smarter clinical trials for better health.
“We’re proud that this work has been recognised and are excited to further our partnership with Slalom to continuously enhance our platform going forwards.”
